Newsletter - December 2010 Merry Christmas... As another eventful year at Haes Systems draws to a close, I hope you are all looking forward to the Christmas break as much as we are. Thank you for your business throughout 2010. Difficult trading conditions continued for the fire detection equipment industry as a whole but Haes has enjoyed another successful year as we have strived to move the business forward.
Some of my highlights from 2010 include: We received some really positive feedback in our annual customer satisfaction survey and continue to act on your views in order to further improve the service we offer I have had the opportunity to travel with our team of Regional Sales Managers, to meet many of our customers in person and to gain their views on future product requirements. This is helping us greatly to shape our future new product development plans We recently completed the introduction of a new integrated management software system that will make our processes more efficient and ensure that we have more of the items you require in stock The unique Fusion panel was third party approved to EN 54-2 & EN 54-4 by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB). It also has Construction Products Directive (CPD) approval, meaning the panel has now met with all relevant standards We expanded the range of fire detection equipment products that we are able to supply from stock or on very short turnaround times. New products include; approved power supplies, the Testifire detector tester, extinguishing panel from Advanced, as well as the new products available from Apollo and Hochiki Our Services Department has also had a busy year implementing fire risk assessments and commissioning systems for our customers Christmas Opening Times: During the Christmas period we will be open as follows: Orders can be placed up to 3:00pm on Thursday 23rd December, for delivery before Christmas The Haes Systems office and phone lines will close at 12:00pm on Friday 24th December We will reopen after the Christmas/New Year break on Tuesday 4th January 2010 And a Happy New Year We already have some exciting things planned for the New Year. As well as some great new product introductions from Haes Systems and other leading manufacturers, we will be introducing a fabulous new website which is currently under development. The new website will detail all the products and services available from Haes Systems and will include our full product range presented in an easy to navigate 'catalogue' with a flexible search capability. We are excited about this development as it will enable our customers to quickly and easily find the details of the product they want 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And it’s out with the old... We have had really positive feedback about this newsletter since its introduction over a year ago but we feel we can do better! Many of you have told us that you want us to keep you up to date with products, promotions and pricing and the newsletter has generally enabled us to do that. However, we wish to be more responsive and let you know of important developments in these areas immediately. We will therefore be changing the format of our communications next year and will be issuing short bulletins to cover key areas Tech Update will update you on key technology developments from Haes Systems and the various manufacturers of products that we distribute. We will also use Tech Update to inform you of technical upgrades, to provide you with installation advice and details of product obsolescence Sales Flash will provide you with up to the minute details of pricing changes, new product introductions and special promotions We are confident that this new approach will enable us to provide you with an even better service in the future. Thank you again for your support over this past year. We look forward to being of service to you during 2011 and to getting closer to our aim of being the ‘one stop shop’ for the fire trade.
