This has been a very exciting time for us here at Haes, there is lots happening in particular the launch of the Fusion panel, which we are all very excited about.
One of the actions we took from the Haes customer satisfaction survey was to examine how best we can serve our customers. As a result of this review, we are pleased to announce that we have implemented a change in our sales resources. Russell Povey, Northern and Scotland regional sales manager, is our new Haes regional sales manager. Russell joins us from Morley IAS and has over 15 years experience in the fire industry. Also, this newsletter’s employee profile will focus on John Craig, who has recently been appointed UK Sales Manager.
There are a number of other product updates as well as the exciting Fusion panel launch. Our objective is to communicate relevant, up to date information and we welcome your comments and input. If you would like us to cover a specific subject or you have comments on this issue, please get in touch by emailing us at: enquiries@haes-systems.co.uk

| Now available; Fusion…the only control panel you will ever need? |
|
 |
Fusion is a unique concept in fire alarm control panels, combining an analogue addressable alarm system with conventional and twin wire technologies. Fusion is capable of running any or all three technologies in a single control panel with the use of modular, plug-in cards, making it the most versatile panel available today.
Fusion can be installed to operate with the vast majority of existing detectors, call points and sounders and can accommodate the latest versions when these are upgraded. It is therefore effectively ‘future proof’ and provides the major advantage that existing systems can be upgraded in phases, as budgets allow. If required, Fusion can be configured to support older style detector circuits and detector circuits utilising the latest technology simultaneously. And because Fusion is based upon tried and tested technology derived from Haes Systems Excel (Conventional) and Vector (Analogue addressable) control panels, reliability is ensured from day one more... |

Name:
John Craig
Occupation:
UK Sales Manager
How long have you worked at Haes?
My father worked within the fire protection industry and was the one who introduced me to it. Before joining Haes Systems, I worked for 10 years in various other jobs in the industry. I started at Haes Systems some 15 years ago, working as one of two sales managers employed at the time to cover the whole of the UK. I have always been in a sales and system specification role throughout my time at Haes and, even though my job title may not have changed, my job has expanded significantly. I am now newly appointed to the role of UK sales manager with myself and a team of three Sales Managers covering different areas of the country.
What is a week in the life for John Craig? There are varied responsibilities in my job role; I call on installers, specifiers, consultants and end user customers advising them on Haes Systems products and helping them to design fire protection systems. Obviously, there is a lot of field based work and I tend to be out most days visiting customers but do try to get some time in the office to ensure all sales administration is completed correctly. Our range of products is now far more diverse than it was in the early days and I deal with Haes Systems fire control panels and the related products that we distribute. My role certainly keeps me busy!
What are your thoughts for the future on the fire protection industry?
I am encouraged by the fact that the industry is ‘growing up’. It is becoming more regulated which drives continuous improvement and improved service for our ultimate customers. I am pleased that Haes Systems have responded to this and we have grown our business significantly by leading innovation, producing quality products and investing in research and development.
What do you like about working at Haes Systems?
I enjoy the variety in my job and having the opportunity to meet and work with people from all walks of life.
What are your Hobbies?
My hobbies are sports, music, film and I love turning my hand to a bit of DIY.
What is your Pet hate?
As most people, no doubt, who have to travel up and down motorways a lot with their work, I absolutely can't stand tailgaters! |
